In the Convention Center Heffterhof
A Seminar-Hotel that thinks of everyone and everything
We pay special attention throughout the hotel to accessibility for meeting and living.
As an international conference center in Salzburg the Heffterhof offers 12 seminar and discussion rooms of varying size which are equipped to meet the technological needs of seminars and conferences. The technology can be controlled easily and quickly by wireless touch-panels.
The seminar rooms in the main building are located on the ground floor or the upper floor. They are wheel-chair accessible by elevator (door width = 90 cm [ca. 3 feet]) and/or ramps (except for the Seminar room “Flachgau”). Hand-rails on the ramps make access easier. The rooms in the South Seminar House are all on the ground floor.
The tables in the seminar rooms are 72-75 cm (28.5-30 inches) high. Almost all rooms have chairs with armrests.
We can only provide an inductive loop or hearing apparatus upon request.
In good weather the Terrace Café is open and ramp-accessible with a wheelchair from inside or out.
Free parking is provided for buses and cars. Handicap parking is also available.
