The Heffterhof “Environmental Discussions” may be seen as a platform for information and discussion for agriculture and forestry and their consumers. Environmental matters of concern to agriculture are presented by experts and discussed with a mixed public audience. The target group depends on the topic of each single event and is usually composed of farmers, functionaries, environmentalists, decision makers such as mayors and members of the provincial government, multipliers, teachers, pupils, students etc.
These discussions about the environment are held at the Hotel Heffterhof. The events are normally organized by the Chamber for Agriculture and Forestry in Salzburg.
